Course Description:
The Maryland Handgun Qualification License (HQL) course is a state-mandated training program designed for individuals seeking to purchase, rent, or transfer a handgun in Maryland. Course Objectives:
Firearm Safety: Learn the fundamental principles of handgun safety, including safe handling, storage, and transportation of firearms.
Firearm Mechanics: Gain an understanding of handgun operation, components, and basic maintenance.
Maryland Firearm Laws: Receive an overview of Maryland specific laws governing firearm ownership, purchase, and usage, including the legal responsibilities of handgun owners.

Course Structure:
