In the RDS Fundamentals and Performance Course, we delve into the nuanced art of mastering red dot sight (RDS) technology to enhance firearm proficiency. Day 1 Students are then guided through the process of zeroing their red dots, crucial for precise aiming. We explore the intricate mechanics of body posture and recoil management, emphasizing dot tracking techniques to predict and control movement. Diverse styles of draws, including the innovative “Wave” Grip, optimizing target acquisition. Day 1 culminates with practical drills.
Building upon foundational skills, Day 2 of the RDS Pistol class delves deeper into refining marksmanship proficiency. A specialized focus on trigger control unlocks precision. We introduce three distinct modes of practice—Accuracy and Speed. Emphasis shifts towards distance shooting and seamless transitions between targets. The culmination of the class features the rigorous Black Belt Standards assessment, challenging students to showcase their newfound skills under pressure.
