Vision Focus Class
September 25 & 26, 2026
In the Vision Focus class, you will develop high-level shooting skills through experience. Hwansik details his innovative concept, Vision Focus. You’ll learn the most important components of shooting fundamentals and how to push through fatigue in a straightforward approach which will equip you to continue growing and learning long after you finish the course. Train your vision focus, trigger control, confirmation levels, and efficiency throughout your shooting skills.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a TWO DAY class. The fee covers both days including range time, but you must sign up for Day 2 as well so we can properly track everyone in the class.
*Based on recommends given by Hwansik, we recommend students that are signed up for this 2-Day class bring 1,000 rounds of ammunition per day
( 2,000 rounds total )
*We typically recommend shooters begin with the Vision Focus Class before the Mastery Class. Even if you are an experienced shooter, the Master Class builds on content in the Vision Focus course, offering learning experiences for everyone!
Learn new concepts and skills to apply in practice, matches, or to enhance your readiness with your defensive firearm. You will receive individual feedback on ways to increase efficiency, structure training, and effectively apply what you learned at your very next match or range day.
This is a two day class format with a maximum of a 12 student limit. This class is geared towards students who already have a decent grasp on the fundamentals of marksmanship. If you’re struggling to hit targets with no time standard, please attend the Project Broken Arrow “Practical Shooting Fundamentals” class first. Additional details on all Project Broken Arrow classes can be found at projectbrokenarrow.com
*Based on recommends given by Brandon Alvarez, we recommend students that are signed up for this 2-Day class bring at least 800 rounds of ammunition per day
*Students are expected to be able to safely handle a pistol and perform basic weapon manipulations.

Red Dot Pistol: Fundamentals & Performance
2-Day Course
May 22nd & 23rd , 2027
In our RDS Fundamentals and Performance Course, we delve into the nuanced art of mastering red dot sight (RDS) technology to enhance firearm proficiency. Day 1 initiates with an introduction, followed by a safety briefing. Students are then guided through the process of zeroing their red dots, crucial for precise aiming. We explore the intricate mechanics of body posture and recoil management, emphasizing dot tracking techniques to predict and control movement. Diverse styles of draws, including the innovative “Wave” Grip, are scrutinized, alongside an in-depth analysis of Fitts Law principles, optimizing target acquisition. Day 1 culminates with practical drills like the 3 & 2 Drill, reinforcing red dot performance in close-quarter distances.
Building upon foundational skills, Day 2 of our RDS Pistol class delves deeper into refining marksmanship proficiency. A specialized focus on trigger control unlocks precision, dissecting the nuanced “walls” of trigger manipulation. We introduce three distinct modes of practice—Accuracy, Speed, and Real—to fine-tune shooting prowess across varying scenarios. Emphasis shifts towards distance shooting and seamless transitions between targets, utilizing shape-based drills. The culmination of the class features the rigorous Black Belt Standards assessment, challenging students to showcase their newfound skills under pressure. A comprehensive debrief concludes the course, providing invaluable insights and personalized feedback for continued growth. A certificate and token of appreciation is then given to each student.
To fully participate in this course and unlock your potential, please ensure you are familiar with shooting a pistol AND the safety requirements. Bring the following equipment:- A reliable (excludes SigP320) modern pistol, preferably equipped with a red dot sight – Kydex holster with an appropriate ride height for easy and secure access-IWB, OWB, or duty holster- A substantial supply of 700 rounds of reliable ammunition- Five magazines- An open mind and a sincere willingness to learn, adapt, and improve.
